As if you've taken over the universe
And have removed every curse.
But you've made a distinction
Between us, and gave me affliction.

You've really taken over the universe!
Blue skies, tropical breeze in your purse.
Because you are blessed by Athena,
History bows to you in the savanna.

Unfortunately, I'm only a man—
To worship you is all I can.
But you've made a distinction
Between us, and gave me affliction.
